TAN HAMLET (Hypoplectrus sp.)
About this presice fish, I am not sure what it is, in the book Fisha Identification from REEF organization, the picture of a tan Hamlet Show a consistent brown-tan color on the fish body, the ones I have seen here that have the same color or near the same color, have a black blotch rigth on top of it's nose, so it can be a hybirth too.
What is interesting is that in Cozumel Island there are a lot of hybirths of hamlets, and when somebody asked me why, I answered, "if you take a look around town, you will find that thera are a lot of mix marriages involving Mexicans with other nacionalities, in other words, We Mexicans, will mate with anybody!!!
