These are some of the most uncommon fish in Cozumel, some you may know, but please put attention to them because they are not in every reef, some can be confuse with other species, but believe me after 4 years of doing survays, I know they are not that common.
This is an effort to show you what not many dive masters will be able to show you.

Conch Eggshell
This is not an unusual fish, but even many divemaster do not know what it is,
You may have seen this before if not, well, you are looking to and eggbag of Conchshell. I am not a Biologist, I am an observer, and this one we saw it the moment the Conch itself was laying it, and it took 28 to 30 days for the tinny little conchs to start coming out of it.
When I say we, is Doñla MariJo and Don Antonio Guerra along with me, Don Toñito is the one that took the picture. I went constantly to the place where we saw the Conch laying it so I meassure the time it took the babies to come out, these ones are layed on a Gorgonia, but usually they are layed on Hydroids because they are protected by them so predators can not get them,
