These are some of the most uncommon fish in Cozumel, some you may know, but please put attention to them because they are not in every reef, some can be confuse with other species, but believe me after 4 years of doing survays, I know they are not that common.

Flying Gurnards
These fish only live among grass or algae beds, neveseen them on a reef, but you may find them while snorkeling, specially if you do it very close to the beach in the grassbeds.
When they are approached by divers, they open up their fins forming a perfect colorful circle around their bodies, they are sure very pretty then.
