These are some of the most uncommon fish in Cozumel, some you may know, but please put attention to them because they are not in every reef, some can be confuse with other species, but believe me after 4 years of doing survays, I know they are not that common.

Yellow Tail Hamlet
This one member of the Hamlet family, Yellowttail Hamlet (Hypoplectruschlorurus) lives in a very famous wall, but we have only seen it at the most 10 times, no other has been seen on the island, so we can say along with the Masked Hamlet, is a rarity, have not been observed again after Wilma. Whe I saw it for the first time not even my Fish Identification teacher believed me three years ago when I told her I have seen it, again no other has been cataloged so far, indeed it's a beauty.
